NaBloWriMo ~ NovWriSo...time with mama...

Mom took me to my dietician appointment today as Steph still isn't released to drive...maybe Friday. I told her the story about getting gypped at the movie theatre back some 50 years ago. She didn't remember it and she couldn't even remember a movie theatre in Houston that she could have taken us too. A lot of time has passed since then. It is hard to remember those little things.

She did remember the Pinocchio movie when Sean was a kid when I mentioned it to her. Heck, that was more than 30 years ago. We have done a lot of living over the years. LOL!!!

We had a good time talking and visiting as we went to the appointment and driving back home. I had a 3 pound weight gain but had only been five days since my last weigh in and I am constipated(I know TMI) so I am not really worried about it I have still lost more than 19 pounds in less than a month. That is pretty darned good. I am sure that when I see Sydnie again in December that I will have those 3 pounds gone and some friends to go with it. I have been working my diet plan really well so I am not going to sweat it.

Stephanie goes to her doctor appointment on Friday and we hope she will be released to drive then. Mom has been a good sport though and has taken us to appointments and the store. Heck, she even took us out to eat once. That was a real treat.

So, that is how my day went today. It was a good time with mom.

Ciao!

Mer, me too. I feel very, very lucky! I wish everyone could be so lucky to have parents like mine. They are "the bee's knees!"

Hugs,
