Well, this is almost the end of October. #NaBloWriMo will officially be over but I will probably still play with #NaBloWriMo like I did last year. #NaNoWriMo starts on Saturday November 1st. I know the name of my novel, "Crying With Grannie" but I don't have a clue as to what it will be about. I will just start writing on Saturday and hope for the best. LOL!!!!

I was thinking about all of the writers I have gotten to know over the years since I have been active on social media. In fact, some of the first people I met were writers and I really don't even know how that happened. I just don't remember. I know I was more active on Twitter back then because Facebook did not "play nice" with dial-up, Windows ME and my ancient Gateway. Twitter on the other hand was very cooperative. I read lots and lots of news articles while meeting all kinds of writers. Many of those writers have now faded from my life. Some because they just seem to have vanished from the face of the earth even though I have been looking for them, others because their behavior has been somewhat nasty and I have dropped them, others have left the social networks and some have dropped me as a friend. I guess I just don't produce enough to be considered "in their league." I am still friends with several writers who I discovered in those early days when I was a newbie to social networking and I enjoy being in their friends networks because I have learned so much. They are also interesting to visit "listen" to as they share their thoughts and ideas. I do miss several writers with whom I have lost contact and will continue to search for them. In the meantime I will continue to enjoy meeting new writers via social networking as I hone my own skills and enjoy writing my stories and essays.

Have a beautiful day!

Ciao!
