I woke up at 2:39 this morning...

prime time for writing but I cannot think of a single story one. Now isn't that the pits. All I can think about is how funny the little dog has been the past few days. She hasn't done anything that stands out but she has be cute, loving and playful. I have said it before but I am saying it again. I cannot imagine our lives without little dog. She brings such joy to our lives AND a little aggravation but she is a rooster poot and such fun to have around.

My avatar cat disappeared two months ago right after her thirteenth birthday on St. Patrick's day. I am afraid the neighbor ran over her and didn't have the manhood to tell us. Ruthie Ann was NOT a cat who would be kept in the house. She liked her comfort but then she wanted outside and would make certain she got out. All of our cats are that way. Ruthie thought she owned the road and would lie in it whenever she felt like it. For 13 years that was respected. The new neighbor has a "bad a**" truck and likes to peel out and burn rubber. That is why I wonder if he might have run over her. I guess I will never know what happened to my Ruthie. She was my favorite cat and now she is gone. It makes me sad. I look for her all of the time.

I am going to see a sleep specialist on June 2nd. I am sure there will be some testing but hopefully I will get an equipment adjustment and start getting restful sleep. Then maybe we can address the insomnia. We will see.

Tomorrow I have a doctor's appointment to see about being in a study for dry eye. The study is to see if dry eye is a progressive disease process or if it is static. I hope that I qualify for the study. I think it would be interesting to be part of it.

Well, that is all that I know. Like I said, no stories are coming to my feeble mind tonight. I wish you well and hope you have slept restfully.

Oh Ardee, you aren't having a very fun time of it lately! (Aside from The Little Dog, of course.)

I'm so sorry about Ruthie Ann. I know all your cats are special to you but Ruthie Ann was even more so, if possible. I don't suppose you could ask the neighbor if he's seen your cat and then watch his expression to discover whether he has guilty feelings? (I have a deep disdain for peeler-outers myself.)

When you see the sleep specialist will you have to be studied for a night? Or do they just assume you're waking up because of apnea?

Am hoping you get into the dry eye study. Crossing fingers and toes for you!

The neighbor guy is a real jerk. I don't feel safe talking to him. I will just have to wonder about Ruthie Ann.

The sleep specialist will probably do a new sleep study on me because I haven't had one in 12 years. This is not going to be fun. Last time they got so irritated because I couldn't go to sleep. I am a pain sometimes. LOL!

My dry eyes are so bad that I cannot be in the study. I just found out AND I have to tape my eyes shut when I sleep. That is not going to be fun at all. How annoying! I am sure I will get used to it.

Life is interesting!!!! Yes, indeed it is!

Hugs to you,
