#NaBloWriMo ~ my single little peeper...

As fall is closing in I only have one active little peeper in the front yard and he is singing his little heart out right now. He is calling the rain telling it to come on and get here, but I don't think the rain will arrive until tomorrow no matter how hard the little peeper sings. It is a quiet night at SageMoon Cottage except for the fans and the peeper.

Little dog and Steffie are taking a nap. Steffie doesn't feel good and little dog is taking a nap because Steffie is. Steffie's fibro is flared up by the sudden changes in weather. I can relate although today I am better than usual. That is a good thing too. Whew, I am tired of hurting.

We are going to have oatmeal for dinner after they take their nap. That will be good and filling. It is warming to the heart and soul too. I really like oatmeal. It is an almost perfect meal.

Stephanie and I did go to DollarTree today and got some things we needed, mostly groceries. I wish we had one of the DollarTrees with a freezer section and a produce market, that would be awesome!

On the way home from DollarTree we saw a big old draft horse pulling a wagon of merry makers. They had jingle bells on the wagon. It was 79 degrees but the jingle bells were tinkling. Now I know how people in California and Florida feel during the holidays. We just don't have palm trees. LOL!!!!!

Not much else to allow. Got lots of free books during the Blog Tour de Troops. Every book that is given away is matched with a book for our troops. How cool is that! If I just had the eyes for reading I'd be in good shape. I see the eye doctor again Wednesday. Maybe she will have some good ideas. Maybe she will pin my ears back for not taping my eyes. We will see, in the meantime I have lots of free ebooks to read when I am ready.

I am going to sign off for the night.

Re: Life at SageMoon Cottage and Birds...
There are a few palm trees in NorCal. 'Twas the weather I referred to, if I was doing it right. I think we are agreed about the palm trees. I don't like 'em unless they have coconuts on them, and they usually don't on the mainland. Or dates. I love dates!

Wow, I didn't realize there were palm trees that far north. Amazing. I am more on dates than I am coconuts. Dates are awesome.
