#NaBloWriMo ~ it's raining here...

Yesterday it was muggy, muggy, muggy...today it is wet, wet, wet...the rain has come and it isn't just fooling around. The temperature has dropped about 20 degrees since yesterday, we have had thunderboomers much to the chagrin of the little dog who does NOT like thunders. She prefers nice quiet days and nights.

We have picked up some much needed rain. I hope some of it is soaking into the ground and not just running off. That is not helpful when the rain just erodes the ground and does not nourish the soil. I will be watching the news soon to see if there is any indication about whether or not the rain is soaking in or not. Sometimes it has been really slow today so I am hoping we are getting a soaking.

I made venison spaghetti sauce for dinner tonight. It was pretty good. It could have been better but I have been spaghetti hungry so it was better than nothing. (Well, that sounded positive didn't it. LOL!)

Tomorrow night Stephanie will be having dinner with her son Tony. He will be in Arkansas for a volleyball tournament with his job at University of Texas at San Antonio. The games are being played in Conway but he is flying into Little Rock, then renting a car. He will be meeting his mom at IHOP for dinner. I think that is really nice. I am glad she will get to see him. What a gift at the holiday season.

Well, I don't have a lot to say so I will bid you adieu!

Ciao!

Poor little dog. She just can't catch a break lately, can she?

I didn't know Steffie had a son!

Hope your soil is like a sponge. :)

Little Dog...
Little dog just has had it rough but she really lives in the lap of luxury. We spend more on her every month than we do on us. This is true. She is a rotten little dog who is "skeert" of "thunders."

Yes, Steffie has a son who just turned 31 in October. Our kids are 33, 31 and 29.

The soil soaked up the rain around here. We got over FIVE inches. It really, really rained.

Hugs,
