#NaBloWriMo ~ rainy, rainy day...

Wow, did we get the rain today. It rained all day and it looks like it will rain later tonight. It is cold and damp. I am so sorry to see the nice weather slip away until spring. I do have to say it was good sleeping and goofing off weather. The only things I have really accomplished are messing around on-line, watching the news, cooking dinner and washing dishes. (BTW, I wash dishes by hand, no automatic dishwashers here!)

The little dog has been jittery some today. We had a bit of thunder and she really does not like thunder so she spent a lot of time in her carrier. It makes her feel safer. Right now she is napping in my chair. Little chair stealing hussy, LOL!!!

Well, the New Hampshire primaries were today, supposedly Mitt Romney carried them and Ron Paul came in second. The whole Republican field scares me. I don't trust a single one of them and I expect that one of the pack will be our next president. It is a wretched proposition. I had hopes they'd come up with someone decent but it didn't happen.

I am not looking forward to the rest of the election year. I am glad I don't watch television and can see the news on the computer without commercials. Of course, I can't watch the news on the computer on weekends because they don't air it on the computer on the weekends so I have to see commercials then. I may decide that I don't want to watch the news on the weekends as the November elections get closer. We will have to see just how low-brow and nasty the campaign ads are this year. I don't have high hopes of people acting civilized so I expect the campaign ads to be vicious. Too bad because I really do enjoy watching the news.

Well, I don't have much else to write about tonight so I will close and say,

"Ciao!"
