#NaBloWriMo ~ What a glorious day!

Today was our last warm, dry day for a while. We got out and ran errands. The weather was so beautiful. The sun was shining and it wasn't too hot, it was just right. It didn't take us too long to run our errands then we took a gift card to IHOP (it was a Christmas present from a friend) to get one of their "special this month" Hash Brown stacks. OMG, mine was delicious. I probably ate more calories today than I have in any TWO days this week but it was worth every calorie I consumed. Totally yummy!!! We still have some money on our IHOP card and we may have to go get another one of these before they go away in February. They were THAT GOOD!!!!

Speaking of calories and celebrations, we are going to celebrate my daddy and Lyn's (my DBIL) birthdays on Monday at a local China Buffet. I may have to live on Slimfast for the rest of the week. I love me some Chinese food and, of course, when you are celebrating and partying you always eat a little more. My daddy is going to be SEVENTY SEVEN years old. Now he is the cutest thing and I can't believe he is already hitting 77. I don't have any trouble with realizing that I am almost 55 but I can't believe Mr. Cutie Pie is going to be 77. It just doesn't seem real. Ah but it is and I just have to recognize that it is. I hope I have him around for a long time to come.

It is going to be cold out tomorrow and Stephanie has to go to a local hospital with her mom for a swallowing test. Hopefully, her mom will do okay with the test. She hasn't been doing too well lately so I am concerned for Steph and for her mom.

My mom goes tomorrow to get the results of her myelogram. Hopefully the doctor will have some idea now of how to treat her so that she gets some relief from the pain she has been in. I certainly hope so. She has been in a lot of pain.

Well, that's all I know for now. It's time for me to say,
